This scientific research is aimed at investigating the mechanism linking childhood emotional neglect (CEN) to adulthood relationship satisfaction (RS). Specifically, it explores the different roles of perceived acceptance, education level and family income (Socioeconomic status). It employed online retrospective questionnaires to conduct innovative research among 532 adults in intimate relationships countrywide in the context of big data. A structural equation modeling (SEM) was established using computer software. The statistical outcomes showed that:(1) CEN predicted RS negatively (β =-0.46, p<0.001); (2) Perceived acceptance acted as a mediator between CEN and RS (β =-0.39, p<0.001); (3) Education level moderated the effect of CEN on RS (β =0.22, p<0.001), while family income moderated both initial and latter stages of the indirect mediating path (βs=-0.09, -0.06, ps<0.05). This study reveals the mechanism linking CEN to RS, providing insights for enhancing relationship satisfaction.
