Self-adaptive LED spectrum-tunable light source with high output irradiance and uniformity

英文摘要 | Light emitting diode-based spectrum-tunable light sources play a crucial role in various environmental optical monitoring instruments and CCD optical sensors calibration due to their spectral tunability, low power consumption, and extended service life. This paper conducts a comprehensive exploration of two essential aspects of LED spectrum-tunable light sources: the spectral fitting algorithm and the light mixing system. Based on the LED mathematical model and the spectral superposition principle, a self-adaptive differential evolution (SADE) spectral fitting algorithm is proposed. Additionally, a half-integrating sphere light mixing system is designed by integrating diffuse reflection and specular reflection models. Building upon these advancements, an LED spectrum-tunable light source is constructed. The experimental results demonstrate that the light source has a superior self-adaptive spectral fitting effect. In comparison to traditional spectrum-tunable light sources, the designed light source simplifies the structure and reduces manufacturing complexity, and achieves the target spectrum with self-adaptive fitting, enhancing irradiance and uniformity of the output light. |
