Pantelignans A-F, benzofuran sesquineolignan racemates from the roots and rhizomes of Pandanus tectorius: isolation, chiral resolution, and configurational assignment

| 英文摘要 | Six new benzofuran sesquineolignan racemates, pantelignans A-F (1-6), were isolated from the roots and rhizomes of Pandanus tectorius Parkinson. Chiral separation was subsequently performed via high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), yielding six pairs of enantiomers (1a/1b-6a/6b). The structures were elucidated through comprehensive spectroscopic analysis, and their absolute configurations were determined based on a comparison of experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectra. The antiinflammatory potential of all compounds was assessed by measuring their ability to inhibit the production of interleukin-6 (IL-6) in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW264.7 macrophages. Compound 6a exhibited moderate inhibition on IL-6 production with an inhibitory rate of 88.7 % at a concentration of 20 mu M. |
