Synthesis and Properties of Sulfoaluminate Cement Modified with Nanoparticles at Low Temperature

英文摘要 | Sulfoaluminate cement (CSA) has the characteristics of rapid hydration, quick setting, and rapid strength development characteristics, which show its application potential in low temperature environments. This study aims to explore a building material resistant to low temperatures and investigates the effects of different types of nanoparticles (NPs) and their dosages on the compressive strength, setting time, heat of hydration, freezing point, frozen water, hydration products, pore structure, and microstructure of CSA under 0 degrees C curing conditions. The results indicated that the addition of nano-SiO2 and nano-AlO(OH) significantly enhanced the early compressive strength of CSA. Specifically, when the dosage of nano-SiO2 was 1.5 wt%, the one-day strength reached 57.4 MPa, representing a 41.9% increase compared to CSA. Adding NPs lowered the freezing point of the cement paste and reduced the amount of frozen water, preventing early freeze damage. Furthermore, the inclusion of NPs accelerated the hydration rate, increased the hydration products, and improved the pore structure. |
