| 英文摘要 | Horizontal salt cavern underground energy storage (UES) is a key focus for future energy storage facility development in China. The country is actively advancing the implementation of salt cavern UES in various sectors. This research aims to investigate the impact of different gas frequencies on the stability of horizontal salt cavern UES under varying geological conditions. A creep model was developed to analyze salt rock behavior during gas cycling operations. Fatigue tests were conducted on salt rock, varying the frequencies and amplitudes. The experimental findings determined the model parameters and validated its accuracy. Geological-mechanical models were created for different energy storage areas: Yunying, Jintan, and Chuzhou. The creep model was implemented to analyze the stability of salt cavern UES under three scenarios: compressed air energy storage (high frequency), natural gas storage (moderate frequency), and helium storage (low frequency). The construction of horizontal salt cavern UES was optimized considering economic and stability factors associated with the geological conditions. Results indicated that shallow salt mines are suitable for compressed air energy storage, middle-depth salt mines are better for natural gas storage, and deep salt mines are appropriate for helium storage. This research provides valuable insights into optimizing the construction of horizontal salt cavern UES in China, considering different frequencies and geological conditions. |
