Structural design and mechanical analysis of non-pneumatic tyre with rebound characteristics

英文摘要Compared to pneumatic tires (PT), non-pneumatic tires (NPT) use elastic supporting spokes as the supporting structure, which gives them better safety and load-bearing capacity. However, the material of elastic supporting spokes often has viscoelasticity, which makes it difficult for compressed elastic spokes to recover in a timely manner during driving. This is one of the important reasons why NPT is difficult to apply in high-speed fields. In order to enhance the rebound performance of non-pneumatic tires, this study has developed a crossed arc non-pneumatic tire (CANPT) with structural rebound characteristics based on the stress characteristics of an arch structure. Subsequently, the influence of the curvature radius and arc wide angle of the crossed arc on the rebound performance and load-bearing performance of CANPT were studied. Compared with existing NPT, it was found that the rebound performance of CANPT was improved by 27.9%. The results of this study show that CANPT has superior load-bearing capacity and rebound characteristics during driving, providing new ideas and research guidance for the structural design of non-pneumatic tires in high-speed applications.
