英文摘要The deviatoric couple stress theory (DCST) is introduced to analyze the statics and dynamics behaviors of thin microplates. A size-dependent Kirchhoff plate theory is formulated, and the governing differential equation and appropriate boundary conditions are established. The static bending, including pure bending, of rectangular microplates, and the free vibration of circular microplates are studied and the size-dependence of the mechanical behaviors of thin microplates is demonstrated utilizing the DCST. The obtained results indicate that the natural frequency and maximum deflection are significantly influenced by the scale parameters of the DCST.
