| 英文摘要 | Understanding Holocene sedimentary transitions in the Yangtze River Estuary is essential for elucidating interactions between climate change, sea-level fluctuations, and diagenetic alteration. This study analyzes a 30-m sediment core (SH21-C1) from Shanghai's Pudong area using high-resolution data of XRF, grain size, chromaticity, magnetic susceptibility (MS), and loss-on-ignition. A principal component analysis (PCA)-based multiendmember model was developed to evaluate provenance and paleoenvironmental processes. Five lithostratigraphic units were identified: terrestrial substrate (composed of aolian-fluvial deposits, 10,220-9020 cal BP), delta-front deposits (9020-8150 cal BP), coastal-shallow marine facies (8150-6130 cal BP), fluvial floodplain facies (6130-4620 cal BP), and coastal marsh facies (4620-4000 cal BP). PCA reveals quadruple sedimentary controls: terrigenous clastic inputs (PC1, 52.03 %), redox-sensitive processes (PC2, 11.96 %), biogenic carbonate production (PC3, 10.46 %), and diagenetic signatures (PC4, 7.43 %), confirming forcings from catchment weathering, marine biogeochemistry, and diagenetic reorganization. Key phase-specific responses include: 10,220-9020 cal BP: Aeolian-fluvial deposition under enhanced East Asian Winter Monsoon and arid oxidizing conditions; 9020-6130 cal BP: Tide-influenced clay deposition with peak marine productivity during rapid sea-level rise; 6130-4620 cal BP: Flood-driven grain-size cyclicity modulated by East Asian Summer Monsoon variability; 4620-4000 cal BP: Intensified weathering and redox oscillations in exposed marsh settings, where diagenetic remobilization dominates elemental redistribution (Zn enrichment/MS peaks). The Pudong record provides novel insights into natural controls on estuary evolution. Our multi-endmember approach overcomes single-proxy limitations, clarifying the phased dominance of climatic, marine, and diagenetic drivers in early-to-mid Holocene sedimentary transitions. |
