| 英文摘要 | The overtime work schedule known as '996' (for 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., 6 days per week) has triggered widespread debate in China. Existing research has primarily focused on the socio-cultural aspects and health impacts of overtime work. In contrast, geospatial analyses focusing on the daily activity trajectories and behavioral patterns of urban overtime workers have remained relatively underexplored in the current scholarly literature. This study proposes an analytical framework that identifies overtime workers in Beijing using long-term mobile signaling data and explores their spatio-temporal behavioral patterns. In this research, we identified 1.4 million overtime workers and reconstructed their daily trajectories to analyze behaviors across work, recreation, and travel dimensions. The results reveal that extended working hours significantly restrict spatial mobility and leisure diversity. Six distinct types of overtime workers were identified, with marked occupational and spatial differences, particularly concentrated in high-tech, logistics, and financial zones. This research offers a novel framework for identifying and analyzing urban overtime workers at scale and provides empirical evidence to inform labor protection policies, industrial planning, and urban design aimed at promoting equitable and sustainable cities. |
