| 英文摘要 | Comprehensive assessment of the negative impacts associated with city road freight is essential for promoting sustainable city development. Previous research has primarily focused on specific regional scales, specifically examining the direct impacts of concentrated truck activities on high-demand areas, overlooking the broader city context. In reality, trucks commonly traverse through multiple neighborhoods during their journeys, contributing to a complex web of freight spillover impacts that are not easily captured from aggregated OD demands. This highlights the need for a detailed analysis of individual truck mobility dynamics to better understand the full scope of freight impacts within city environments. Here we collect the GPS data from over 2.6 million trucks in Chinese cities, providing a granular freight impacts assessment framework. By employing the concept of activity space and network analysis method, we reveal that even regions with low freight demand experience significant spillover impacts from truck activities in freight hotspots. To further understand the truck behavioral mechanisms that contribute to freight spillover impacts, we develop a gravity-based exploration and preferential return (EPR) model to simulate truck routing behaviors. Finally, coupled with model simulation, several potential strategies are provided to mitigate freight negative impacts and promote city sustainability. |
