| 英文摘要 | Radionuclide-derived soil redistribution rates (SRRs) have been well done, whereas comparative studies are less conducted under contrasting environments in small agricultural catchments. To address this gap, three representative catchments with areas < 2 km(2) in Heshan (HS), Keshan (KS), and Hailun (HL) counties in Northeast China were selected for analyses of the SRRs and sediment budgets using the Cs-137 technique. The net soil erosion rate was the highest of 725.9 t km(-2) yr(-1) in the HL catchment, followed by the KS catchment with an erosion rate of 435.7 t km(-2) yr(-1), and the lowest rate of 356.4 t km(-2) yr(-1) for the HS catchment. In contrast, the HS catchment had the lowest sediment delivery ratio (SDR) of 55 %, and the KS and HL catchments had comparative SDRs of 82 % and 77 %, respectively. Precipitation was an important factor affecting SDRs through its control on runoff and transport capacity. Topographic factors, such as slope and Terrain Ruggedness Index (TRI), determined the SRRs in the simple land use structured KS catchment, whereas land use patterns controlled SRRs and sediment budgets in the greatly distributed HS and HL catchments by linear features such as shelterbelts, roads and gullies. These findings are valuable for implementing management strategies in agricultural catchments in northeast China and similar regions in the world. |
