Crude oil-degrading Shewanella algae enhances sulfidation corrosion of X70 steel induced by Desulfovibrio bizertensis in the oil-water environment

| 英文摘要 | Hydrocarbon-degrading microorganisms accelerated corrosion in oil-water environments. X70 steel showed higher corrosion sensitivity in hydrocarbon-degrading Shewanella medium than in Desulfovibrio medium with crude oil. The pit-rust corrosion pattern seen in the Shewanella system was not observed in the Desulfovibrio system. Co-culture experiments of Shewanella and Desulfovibrio revealed more viable bacteria attached to the X70 steel surface and more severe corrosion, with the loss of passivation and a reduced Fe3+/Fe2+ ratio in the mineral layer. |
