英文摘要Anticancer drugs, emerging environmental contaminants, are increasingly detected worldwide, raising concerns about ecological risks, thereby underscoring the pressing need for effective treatment methodologies for these compounds in the environment. This review offers a comprehensive examination of the various types of anticancer drugs, detection methods, potential ecological risks, and the bioremediation strategies. A significant focus of this review is the recent advancements in biological techniques for the remediation of anticancer drugs in the environment, with a particular emphasis on the merits, field applicability, scalability and limitations of various organisms such as bacteria, fungi, algae, and aquatic plants. The review also delves into the challenges associated with biological methods for the treatment of anticancer drugs in aquatic environments and offers insights into future perspectives in this field. This comprehensive review aims to provide valuable insights into the bioremoval of anticancer drugs from the environment.
