英文摘要The grain refinement, microstructure, morphology and fraction of interdendritic phases and micro-segregation in superalloy K4169 solidified with a low voltage pulsed magnetic field were investigated. The experimental results showed that the as-cast grains were well refined from similar to 7 to similar to 2 mm under the action of pulsed magnetic field. Some blocky Laves phases and MC phases were observed in the interdendritic region. The fractions of these two phases were both increased under pulsed magnetic field without little change in morphologies. The element contents in dendrite arms and interdendritic region were measured. The results indicated the micro-segregation of solute elements Ti, Nb, Mo, Al, Fe, Cr was in general a little severer when the pulsed magnetic field was applied. The increase of interdendritic phases and the segregation of solute elements were caused by the destruction of solute boundary layer and forced convection in front of the solidification interface by the pulsed magnetic field.
