| 英文摘要 | V2860 Ori is a very fast nova that was recently outburst on August 7, 2019 with an unfiltered magnitude of 9.4 and a peak absolute V-band magnitude of-5.43. By analyzing four sectors of TESS data (S6, S33, S71, and S72) observed between December 12, 2018, and November 11, 2023, covering pre-eruption (S6) and post-eruption quiescent phases (S33, S71, and S72), the changes in the orbital period of the nova are investigated. The orbital period before and after eruption is found to be approximately 0.422476 days, indicating no measurable period change across the fast and faint nova outburst. This result is opposing to the hibernation model for the evolution of cataclysmic variables (CVs), which requires a sudden period increase and thus a drop in the accretion rate to produce hibernation. Additionally, a small-amplitude (0.d00284) cyclic period variation with a period of 30.98 days is detected during the post-nova stage of V2860 Ori. The cyclic variations in the orbital period may be attributed to the disk procession that was produced during the nova eruption. |
