| 英文摘要 | This study first investigates the incidence angle dependence of polarimetric parameters and backscatter coefficients for Arctic summer sea ice, using GaoFen-3 quad-polarization SAR data. A total of 106 SAR scenes acquired over the Fram Strait area from 14 June to 18 June, 2017 were analysed to evaluate the polarimetric characteristics of five sea surface types: calm water (CW), rough water (RW), melted ice (MI), unmelted ice (UI), and deformed ice (DI). Key results reveal: (1) Incidence angle dependence decreases in the order RW > CW > MI > UI > DI for all seven SAR parameters (sigma(hh), K-s, SEi, sigma(rh), CPSEi, rho(rh_rv), alpha(s)); (2) Both backscatter intensities of sigma(hh) and sigma(rh), exhibit stronger angular dependence than polarimetric decomposition parameters (K-s, SEi, CPSEi, rho(rh_rv), alpha(s)) for all five sea surface types; (3) Utilizing the Separability Index (SI) to evaluate how the distinguishing capabilities of seven polarimetric SAR parameters among five sea surface types vary with incidence angles. The sea ice classification capability of each parameter is not linear variation with incidence angles. We identify optimal incidence angle ranges for distinguishing each sea surface type using these parameters. These findings offer valuable insights for sea ice classification. |
