| 英文摘要 | Fluorescent glycoconjugate probes have emerged as innovative tools for biomedical research, helping to delineate the mechanistic roles of sugars in biological and pathological events. This feature article reviews the recent advances in the development and application of fluorescent glycoconjugate probes since 2021, highlighting their applications for biosensing, targeted imaging and phototherapy. We describe the design principles of these probes, their utilization in the detection and cell imaging of glycosidase activities, and their potential to be developed as theranostic agents. We also discuss the challenges and future directions in this field, including the need for the development of sensitive, selective and biocompatible probes for early diagnosis and treatment of major human diseases such as cancer. |
