| 英文摘要 | A new genus of aphids (Hemiptera: Aphidomorpha) is described and figured from an alate female preserved in amber from the Lower Cretaceous outcrop of Bqaatouta at El-Shqif, central Lebanon. Melqartaphis media n. gen. n. sp., is remarkable for many traits but most notably the presence of three-branched medial vein and a complex structure of terminalia with four tubelike tubercles. The group belongs to the Tajmyraphididae. The genus is diagnosed and its affinities with other Mesozoic lineages of aphids are briefly discussed.
