| 英文摘要 | Here we report the discovery of the megaspore, Minerisporites institus Marcinkiewicz, 1960 from Jurassic successions of the Sichuan Basin, South China for the first time, associated with one specimen of Paxillitriletes ales (Harris, 1935) Batten et Koppelhus, 1993. We describe several specimens of Minerisporites institus and compared it with other species of the same genus as well as the morphologically similar species, Paxillitriletes phyllicus (Murray, 1939) Potonie, 1956. Following a review of the geologic ranges and paleogeographic distributions of Minerisporites institus, we infer this to be a useful biostratrigraphic marker taxon for the upper Pliensbachian to Toarcian across Europe and China. |
