Maximal enzyme activity was 2185 U ml(-1) at pH 9.0 incubation temperature 32 degrees C, inoculum amount of p = 1.0%, nutrient solution 3.75 ml g(-1) PUF, incubation time for 2 h and 15.0 in mol L-1 of added CaCl2. Under the same conditions, the yield of alkaline protease produced by SSF using PUF as support is higher than that by submerged fermentation (SMF). |
