中文摘要 | SO2 generated by coal-fired electric power plant is one of the most important air pollutants. Limestone or calcium carbonate are often used as sorbent in capturing the pollutant gas during coal combustion, but their poor structured pores are prone to be blocked by the sulphatizing reaction. In this paper, the method of producing calcium carbonate with high surface area and better pore structure was investigated. The surface area of calcium carbonate powder is in the range of 28similar to68m(2)/g with polycarboxyl or humic acid is used as addictive. The shape of the calcium carbonate crystal converts from cubic and sphere-like to rod-like with proper concentration of addictive. Compared with the normal calcium carbonate, the powder with high surface area has pores with smaller size. The desulphurization experiments indicated that the carbonate powder with higher surface area owns higher reactivity ability with SO2 than the normal ones. |
