Successive cultivation of Fusarium oxysporum on rice chaff for economic production of fibrinolytic enzyme

中文摘要Production of fibrinolytic enzyme by successive solid state cultivation of Fusarium oxysporum on rice chaff (RC) was studied. From recycling 20 g dry RC six times by pure batch culture, an overall of 23200IU fibrinolytic enzyme was obtained. A total of 27400IU was obtained when the same amount of RC was used for six cycles with repeated batch fermentation employing immobilized whole cells, which also resulted in 30% (w/w) loss by weight of the substrate, while only 8% (w/w) of RC was degraded in the initial pure batch fermentation.
