中文摘要The influences of blend composition and rotation speed on the morphology development of PP/PS blends were investigated in a twin-screw extruder. When PS is the major component, the rate of melt and dispersion play a final role on morphology development of polymer melts. However, when PP is the major component, the rate of dispersion and coalescence play a key role on morphology development. A high rotation speed and/or high content of the dispersed phase led to a high tendency to coalesce. When the PP/PS blend composition is close to 1, a co-continuous morphology was observed to transmit into elongated and oriented one and then coarse one with the increase of rotation speed, the morphology evolution mechanisms were discussed in detail.
