英文摘要 | Human set t lement ecosystem ( or a village ecosystem) is basically a human ecosystem with an artificial (architecture) and natural landscape based on a certain env ironment and natural resources1 It is also a human dominat ing natura-l socia-l economic complex ecosystem1 Mountain areas in China are of ten inhabited by ethnic minority people w hile they are usually situated in ecologically vulnerable belts1 Due to historical reasons most ethnic minority groups in China have been living in human set tlements in remote mountains w ith a backw ard economy and an isolate cultural system1 Taking Maidi village of Miyi county in southwestern Sichuan as case, this paper, using historical and f ield survey approach and energy ecolog ical analysis method, has studied the evolut ion and development of village ecosystem in ethnic mountain areas in southw estern Sichuan, in order to provide some hint s for village reconst ruct ion and regional ecological restorat ion and rehabilitat ion1 The studied human set tlement ecosystem consists of a courtyard sub-ecosystem ( art ificial ecosystem) , farm sub-ecosystem ( sem- i art ificial ecosystem) , forest sub-ecosystem ( natural ecosystem) and wasteland sub-ecosystem ( natural ecosystem) 1 The courtyard sub-ecosystem, as a key part of human sett lement ecosystem, consists of populat ion system, domestic livestock system, methane system and among others1 In landscape ecolog ical perspective, it has v illage architecture, roads and f ruit t rees surrounding farmhouses1 A major funct ion of the courtyard sub-ecosystem is its inhabitat ion or housing1 As for this villag e, it is not only a liv ing place for local Lishu people, but also a w orksite for them1 Domest ic livestock act ivit ies are most ly done in courtyard sub-ecosystem1 In addit ion to g oats, catt le and bees, most families have raised pigs, w hich could provide nut rit ious mat ters such as protein and fat for population system1 A major funct ion of livestock system in Maidi village is to provide fertilizers and an-i mal pow er, w ith litt le energ y direct ly going to populat ion system1 Farm sub-ecosystem includes irrigated terraced land ecosystem below the courtyard sub-ecosystem and dry land ecosystem above the courtyard sub-ecosystem1 The input-output rat io of auxiliary energ y of farm sub-ecosystem is comparat ively high, which is identical w ith the local climat ic features in southw estern Sichuan1 Wasteland sub-ecosystem is chiefly composed of shrubs and grasses1 Forest sub-ecosystem, which is situated at a steeper belt in the human set t lement ecosystem, consists of Yunnan pine forest and mixed forest of Yunnan pine forest1 Each sub-ecosystem of the human set t lement ecosystem has a funct ion of its ow n1 The integrat ion of all sub-ecosystems has show n a great holist ic function, w hich gave rise to prosperity of the Lishu people and their typical culture1 As a human sett lement ecosystem, Maidi Village lacks exchange w ith outside, including ex change of materials, cultural ex change and exchange of persons1 In order to reduce negat ive impact of consumption for fuel wood on present forest s, it is desired to develop fuel forest on w asteland and on bare land in addition to developing f ruit t rees and soil conserving forest1 T he state should also give people support in use of biogas, popular use of ef fective stoves and use of electricity |
