| 英文摘要 | The highly ambitious, multidisciplinary work, w hich involves creation of simulations of act ive volcanoes, is being conducted under a three- year, $ 1. 9 million grant from the National Science Foundat ion. s Informat ion Technology Research ( ITR) Program on Feb. 21, 2002. T he researchers w ill integrate simulat ion result s, remote sensing data and geographic- informat ion system data to organize and present the information to scient ist s, decision - makers and, ultimately, cit izens. Some mountain area, such as Colima, Casita, Lit tle T ahoma Peak and the San Bernardino Mountain were used to simulate geophysical flows by TITAN2D model. |
