中文摘要137Cs法在土壤侵蚀与泥沙沉积研究中已得到普遍的应用,但在风沙过程研究中尚未引起足够的重视。针对风沙过程研究中存在的有关问题,对137Cs法的应用前景作了展望,并提出了137Cs应用的若干建议。
英文摘要 A eol ian pr ocesses that involve the mobilizat ion, t ranspo rt and depositio n of material by w ind are the key to understand desert g eomorpholog y and the character ist ics of aeolian sediment s. In the study of aeo lian processes, a gr eat amount of result s ranging f rom the ent rainment o f an indiv idual gr ain to the movement of dunes composed o f many hundreds o f tho usands of tones sand hav e achieved by means of field invest igat ion, wind tunnel ex periment , remote sensing , sedimentolo gy and theoretical modelling etc. . How ev er , as to the t ime scales, these methods alw ays concern w ith either the ancient geolog ical variat ion o f desert env ir onment or the instantaneous g rain saltation, unfo rtunately ig noring the precise measurement of recent or modern aeo lian pr ocesses w hich reg arded as more sensit ive r esponse to the glo bal change. U p now , the aeo lian pr ocesses w ith middle t ime scale of 10s y r. remain to be g aps relat iv ely . In accordance w ith the abo ve limitation, a new t racing method of caesium- 137 to estimate the modern aeolian processes is int roduced in this paper . T he w orld-fallout o f caesium - 137 asso ciated w ith the nuclear w eapons test s dur ing 1950s and 1960s has pr ovided a v aluable man-made t racer for studies of so il erosio n and sediment delivery . T he concentr at ion o f fallout of caesium - 137 in surface horizons and it s low leachability have al low ed this radioiso tope to be used as a geolog ic dateline to determine the rates of soil erosion. At pr esent , the use of caesium- 137 as tr acer of soil w ater ero sion and sediment deposition has developed rapidly and w idespreadly around the w or ld, meanw hile the est imat io n of w ind er osion and sedimentation has ado pted the method a lit t le. T herefo re, on the basis o f the t racing principles of caesium- 137, some advantag es and disadvantages of using the tr acer in the study o f aeo lian processes are discussed.
