The displacement of Xiakuo Landslide has been measured by two sets of GPS Wild 300 since 1996. The deformation network includes 9 points measured by GPS and 20 points by T2/Di101, which are mearsured once a month. Now we have obtained 18 groups of result which show that they are very useful for analysing the development of the landslide deformation and the causes of the landslide formation. This can be easily understood, as explained in taking the influnce of the leakage of the irrigation channel and rainfall on the displacemant. Lastly, some advatages of GPS measurement are introduced.
