中文摘要We demonstrate the generation of TEM00 mode blue light in critically type-I phase-matched LiB3O5 (LBO) with intracavity frequency doubling of diode-pumped Nd:YAG thin disk laser at room temperature. A continuous-wave (CW) TEM00 mode output power of 410 mW at 473 nm was obtained for a pump-power of 10 W. The power fluctuation of blue laser was 2% at the maximum output power in 2 h. The influence of the thermal lens in Nd:YAG thin disk on the blue output was also investigated. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first blue light generation based on a diode-pumped Nd:YAG thin disk laser. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
