中文摘要We have studied the dynamics of quasiparticles in an SS' superconducting proximity-effect bilayer based upon McMillan's proximity-effect model. Quasiparticle scattering and recombination rates were calculated for both S and S' films. Quasiparticle transition rates between the S and S' films, that come out naturally from McMillan's model, were also calculated, and are discussed in particular regarding the quasiparticle trapping phenomena that have been demonstrated recently in the detector applications of superconducting tunneling junctions.
