中文摘要Water-confined laser ablation to enhance the coupling coefficient in laser plasma propulsion is proposed. It is found that the confinement of the plasma expansion due to the water layer leads to high absorption efficiency and therefore a high coupling coefficient of over 250 dyne/W is observed. This is an enhancement of over thirty times compared to that from direct ablation.
