中文摘要It is important to study the effect of the mechanical stress on magnetic properties of the TbxDy1-xFe2 alloys used in advanced actuator systems. In this investigation, compressive strain and demagnetization were measured under coupled magnetomechanical loading. The nonlinear behavior of the strain and demagnetization can clearly be explained by magnetic-domain switching process. The coercive stress and Young's modulus can be obtained from the measured stress-strain curves and demagnetization curves. (C) 2003 American Institute of Physics.
