中文摘要The first-principle calculation within density-functional theory is used to investigate the hypothetical zinc-blende structured VBi. Our calculations indicate that the ZB-type VBi is predicted to be a true half-metallic ferromagnet with a magnetic moment of 2 mu(B) per formula unit and the HM gap of 0.453 eV. Its half-metallicity could be maintained within a relatively wide range of lattice constants ( from around - 6 to 8%).
