In situ conductivity study of the phase transition in Sb-doped C-60

中文摘要C-60/Sb bilayers were prepared on the substrate of mica, and their electrical properties were investigated by in situ de conductivity measurements. The results indicate that the Sb doping in C-60 significantly affects the critical temperature (T-c) for the orientational order-disorder transition of C-60. The T-c of Sb-doped C-60 increases to about 278 K, similar to 18 K higher than that of the pristine C-60. This transition is sensitive to Sb content and disappears upon annealing. A possible mechanism of such a phase transition is discussed. (C) 2000 American Institute of Physics. [S0021-8979(00)00122-5].
