中文摘要Microstructure and magnetic measurements were performed to reveal the distribution of the internal stress in single crystals of Ni(2) MnGa. It was suggested that due to the existence of the directional internal stress in the growth direction of single crystals results in the perfect arrangement of martensitic variants along the growth direction. Furthermore, the influence of such a perfect arrangement of variants on the formation of magnetic domain was studied in this paper.
