中文摘要The mechanical properties of a magnetic quantum point contact are studied based on scattering theory. When the alignment of magnetic moments changes from parallel to antiparallel, the cohesive force of the point contact will be modified. We call it the magnetocohesive-force effect. The effect of the magnetic alignment on the force can play an important role in the stability of a nanosize device. These findings also reveal a way of making energy transformation devices.
