中文摘要The multiple scattering method is used in calculating the electric field distribution for the systems composed of spheres. According to the calculation result, we propose a new mechanism of the electrorheological effect and show that the yield stress induced by this mechanism exhibits the typical characteristics of that observed in experiments.
