中文摘要We have used a combination of pressure and magnetic field to investigate the field-induced ferromagnetic metallic state in a single crystal of the bilayer manganite (La0.4Pr0.6)(1.2)Sr1.8Mn2O7 . We demonstrate that while the external hydrostatic pressure weakens the superexchange interaction between the adjacent bilayers, it strengthens the double exchange interaction in the bilayers. This strengthening leads to a decrease of the critical field that is needed to induce the ferromagnetic transition and further results in an increase in the Curie temperature. The weakened superexchange, on the other hand, is the cause of a less stable ferromagnetic state with a reduction in the critical parameter beta.
