Optical absorption of Au/BaTiO3, Fe/BaTiO3 nanocomposite films prepared by PLD

中文摘要Nanocomposite thin films formed by nanometer-sized metal particles embedded in BaTiO3 matrices (Au/BaTiO3, Fc/BaTiO3) were fabricated using pulsed laser deposition technique. The morphology and chemical state of the embedded metal particles were analyzed by transmission electron microscopy and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, respectively. The absorption peak due to the surface plasmon resonance of Au particles was observed at the wavelength of about 580nm in Au/BaTiO3 films. However, optical absorption spectra in the wavelength range of 330-800nm showed no significant resonance peak in Fc/BaTiO3 films. The results were explained by Mie theory.
