中文摘要Variations in the Poisson's ratios (nu) of a variety of metallic glasses and non-metallic glasses were investigated under high pressure and low temperature (270-100 K). It was found that there are direct correlations between Poisson's ratio and its differential upon pressure or temperature. These correlations suggest a way to understand the microstructure of and plastic deformation in metallic glasses. (C) 2009 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
