中文摘要Polymerized carbon nanobells have been investigated by using scanning tunneling microscopy. Enhanced localized density of states on nanobells is directly observed, and nitrogen-induced electronic states lying similar to0.3 eV below the Fermi level are revealed in the scanning tunneling spectroscopy, which are used to explain the electron field emission behavior observed previously. Our study provides insights into the electronic properties of this nanostructure.
