Striped and rectangular phases in multilayered Ising systems with dipolar interaction

| 中文摘要 | We have calculated the energy of some periodic spin configurations numerically by use of the periodicity of them for a multilayered Ising system with dipolar interaction. We find that the ground state is restricted to the spin configurations in which all nearest interlayer spins align ferromagnetically. The series of the domain phases has been obtained. Other than the striped phases, we also find a series of the rectangular phases in between the range of the striped and the antiferromagnetic phases. A phase diagram with respect to the dipolar interaction strength and system thickness was obtained for systems up to six layers in thickness. |
