中文摘要NiCr alloy coated BaF(2)center dot CaF(2) eutectic and Cr(3)C(2) powders (NiCr/Cr(3)C(2) and NiCr/BaF(2)center dot CaF(2)) are prepared by pressurized hydrogen reduction and solid state alloying process. NiCr/Cr(3)C(2) and NiCr/Cr(3)C(2)-BaF(2)center dot CaF(2) coatings are fabricated by atmospheric plasma spray technology. Both the coatings exhibit low porosity, high micro-hardness and high cohesive strength. Compared with NiCr/Cr(3)C(2) coating, the NiCr/Cr(3)C(2)-BaF(2)center dot CaF(2) coating shows much more superior wear resistance and noticeably lower friction coefficient under dry sliding wear test conditions at high temperature. The friction coefficient of both two coatings are high (mu=0.7-0.8) at room temperature, and decreases with the increase of load. However, the friction coefficient of NiCr/Cr(3)C(2)-BaF(2)center dot CaF(2) coating reduces to 0.38 +/- 0.03 when temperature is up to 500 degrees C, which is significantly lower than NiCr/Cr(3)C(2) coating (mu=0.62 +/- 0.02). Brittle fracture and delamination are the dominant wear mechanisms of the two coatings at low temperature. BaF(2)center dot CaF(2) eutectic, acting as a solid lubricant above 500 degrees C, obtains a much lower shear strength to effectively reduce friction and wear rate of both coating and coupled Si(3)N(4) balls by forming a lubricating film in the wear track.
