pH-Responsive Wettable Fabrics with Hierarchical Structures

英文摘要 | An acid-base-responsive fabric was fabricated by combining a facile chemical deposition of micro- and nanostructure CuO microspheres with the following assembly of mixed thiols (containing HS(CH2)17CH3 and HS(CH2)10COOH). It was found that the hierarchical CuO fabric modified with mixed thiols containing 0.8 molar ratio of HS(CH2)10COOH shows good pH responsivity, which can switch between high hydrophobicity for an acid and a superhydrophilicity for base. |
