| 英文摘要 | The Hengduan Mountain Region which is a part of the Qinghai-Xizang p1ateau is the youngestmountain rising up fron Quaternary .So it has become a famous region with high mountains and deep gorges. The geomorphologic characteristics in Hengduan Mountain Region are as follows, The altitude is getting lower from north to south in stairs. The alternate mountains and rivers are in parallel. The relative height from vallq to peak: is very large. The topography of stratification is obvious in vertical profile. There are many basins in the region, and the areal extent of structural basins is more large than others. |
