Design and realization of the airborne color image enhancement system

英文摘要According to the problem of the halo of traditional multi-scale Retinex algorithm in the enhancement images, a new fast image enhancement algorithm based on multi-resolution variation Retinex is presented. First, the logarithmic is calculated, and the pyramid is built. Then the layer lighting is estimated. Finally the enhancement image is obtained by gamma correction. An embedded high speed image enhancement processing system on high performance DSP TMS320DM6455 and FPGA was designed to the practical application. Experimental results with real images shown that the system can naturally enhance overall image and obtain better enhancement images, the halo problem is prevented, and the running speed of the program is fast, so it can meet the requirements in the project.
