Bright, dark, bistable bright, and vortex spatial-optical solitons in a cold three-state medium

| 英文摘要 | We show the formation of bright, dark, bistable bright, and vortex spatial-optical solitons in a lifetime-broadened three-state atomic medium. We demonstrate, both analytically and numerically, that these solitons can exist under appropriate conditions. This work may provide other research opportunities in nonlinear optical experiments and may result in a substantial impact on technology. (c) 2006 Optical Society of America. |
