| 英文摘要 | Chrysochromulina planisquama sp. nov. is described from the cultures originating from water samples collected in Jiaozhou Bay, Yellow Sea. Cells are spherical to subspherical with a diameter of 3.0-6.0 mu m. They have two unequal flagella and a haptonema, which is shorter than the flagella. Two types of scales form multiple layers on the cell surface. Both types of scales are flat and circular. The larger scales measure 0.70-0.85 mu m in diameter and are ornamented with a pattern of 52-60 radiating ribs on the proximal surface and faint concentric rings on the distal surface. The smaller scales measure 0.38-0.45 mu m in diameter. They have a similar pattern but with fewer radiating ribs (ca. 28-30) on the proximal surface. Each cell contains two chloroplasts, a nucleus and two mitochondria. Scales are produced in the Golgi apparatus. |
