Simulation of atmospheric refractive profile retrieving from low-elevation ground-based GPS observation

英文摘要A new algorithm to jointly retrieve atmospheric refractive profile by ground-based GPS bending angle and delay is developed by optimizing the value function. A more reasonable power system for value function is proposed. By variational assimilation technique, the atmospheric profile is retrieved in virtue of a refractivity model with four parameters. Simulation results show that the retrieved atmospheric refractive profile from the ground-based GPS observation agrees fairly with the true value. The new method can also be applied to detecting atmospheric duct.
