英文摘要the relaxation rates of the v(10),v(11),3v(16) and v(4) eight single vibrational levels of benzene have been studied by using ir-uv double resonance technique for the first time. the relaxation processes for these eight vibrational levels all exhibit a feature of two exponential decay, which correspond to the v-v and v-t energy relaxation process respectively,as an example the values of k(v-t) and k(v-t) for 16(1) 10(1) level are 0.59 +/- 0.05 mu s(-1)torr(-1) and 0.023 +/- 0.003 mu s(-1) torr(-1) respectively.
