英文摘要 | a novel method of surface modification by grafting hydrophilic poly(ethylene glycol) (peg) chains onto the surface of a thin-film composite (tfc) polyamide reverse osmosis (ro) membrane was performed. aminopolyethylene glycol monomethylether (mpeg-nh2) was used as grafting monomer. the membranes were characterized by attenuated total reflectance fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (atr-ftir), x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (xps) and atomic force microscopy (afm). the changes in chemical composition and morphology of the membranes' surface indicated the successful grafting process. furthermore, a preliminary experiment confirmed that the grafting of peg chains improved membrane antifouling property.
